What makes this a beautiful song:
1. The steady percussion at the opening is at a perfect pace for leisurely walking.
2. The warbling synth noise at 1:30 is like an echo of a human voice.
3. Many songs in this genre would be happy to stick with the opening three-chord loop. But as this track nears its midpoint, it opens up into a beautiful b-section, with four new chords and a greater sonic range. The fact that Ramic, his childhood stolen by the horrors of war, can create something with so much hope and beauty baked in, is enough to bring me to tears.
